Tikkun Olam (Social Justice)
Our tradition exhorts us to pursue tikkun olam – the repair of our world. Locally, nationally, and internationally, the Board of Rabbis seeks the well-being of all humanity through its leadership and involvement in programs and activities.
Over the years, the Board of Rabbis of Southern California has engaged in a wide array of projects in response to events and to help people in need.
Most recently, the Board of Rabbis teamed up with the Rabbinical Assembly to build a home with Habitat for Humanity for a family. The rabbis who participated both gave financial support and their day of labor to build this home in Culver City. What a great mitzvah to create a home for a family in need!
